Artifact 1: APHG Unit 1 Test
The unit 1 test was my first major grade in AP Human Geography. The test was about the basics of Human Geography and vocabulary surrounding it. The night before, I studied like I regulary did before test; an intensive look over of all the notes. I had recived a 84 on the test and was quite upset, for it was my first C in a really long time in a history class. The test made me realize that I was going to have to grasp new study techniques, and I had also learned how to write a FRQ for the first time. This test showed me what to expect on future AP test and how to prepare for it.
Artifact 2: State Profile Project
The State Profile Project was where I had to create a powerpoint for a state or country of my choice. I chose Ukraine as my state and I created a 10 paged powerpoint about its site, situation, language, religion, ethnic groups, CDR, CBR, IMR, infrastructure, and conflict issues. this information had to be obtained through research using multiple resources. Through this project I learned about different ways to distinguished states from one another, and how to identify different types of states. I also learnede the important of using ,multiple sources including textbooks and websites. I also discovered ways to discover unbaised websites instead of baised website to gather information.
